This Friday, September 03, 2010, Violet will be going to the National American Miss Pageant. She has been practicing since June. She is really excited about it. Violet will be entering several events. Formal Wear, Interview, Personal Introduction, Talent, Most Photogenic, Top Model Shoot, Actress Competition, and Community Service.
For the Talent part she is going to singing 2 songs. She has been practicing 3 songs and is going to let her music teacher, Mrs. Johnson pick the 2 best for her. They are Patriotic Medley, Rocky Top and Raining Sunshine.
For the Formal Wear part she is going to be wearing a Mora Lee dress. It is a turquoise color. Laverne had to crochet a 3 inch bottom for the dress because Violet grew about 3 inches since we ordered it in June. It took Laverne several days to crochet it and about 10 hours to sew it on by hand.
The Pageant starts Friday and ends Sunday. It is going to be at the Franklin Cool Springs Marriott in Franklin Tennessee.
